    • Congratulations to Drew for winning $505 (our largest ever!)and the title of Season Six Champion.

July 20th, 2008

  • Tournament of Champions
    • The ToC will be held on Saturday, 08/02/2008 with the top eight in points gaining automatic entry on a freeroll.
    • Congratulations to Rudy, Arlene, Grant, Toby, Marcus, Drew, Brandon and Mersudin for being the season six ToC entrants.
    • The ToC fund is currently at $445.00
    • 1st place in the ToC takes all of the cash and 2nd place gets free entries to all of the next season's tournaments (up to a $120 value)
    • In addition to the eight players mentioned above who have already secured their spot in the ToC, we will be doing a shoot out tourney to allow entrance to the ToC to a ninth player (see details below)
  • Season Six "Losers Tourney" Information and Rules
    • The Losers Tourney will be held the same day as the ToC (08/02/08) and will start at noon.
    • You qualify to buy in if you attended at least two tournaments in this season.
    • The buy in will be $10 with the entire amount going to the ToC fund
    • We will start with 10k chips and will play with the normal blind structure except all rounds will be 30 minutes to ensure that we are done in time to start the ToC at around 5:00pm.
    • The winner (and only the winner) will gain entrance to the ToC in the ninth spot and will start the ToC with the minimum 10k chips.

    • July's tournament is on July 19th. Be sure to keep up to date on the Schedules page. As is tradition, July's tournament, being the final tourney of the season, will be a deep stack tournament giving you 20,000 chips to start with. Additionally, there will be an optional double add on after the first round. You can get another 5,000 chips for $5 or 10,000 chips for $10.
  • Tournament of Champions Fund Update
    • We're up to $300 with one tournament still remaining. Potentially, we could break $400 for the ToC. Top 8 in points go to the ToC and it's tight at the bottom thatswhatshesaid so be sure that you make the last tournament of the season to secure your spot!
